🌎 KEP 2026 ‘Awakening of Memory’ Talk Series | Learning the Language of the Land by Donna Kerridge The land is always speaking. Are you ready to listen? 🌲🌧️✨ In the Māori worldview, the natural world is far from silent. The earth, forests, plants, soil, birds, insects, animals and water are continuously speaking. Learning to understand this language is just as essential as learning to communicate with one another. In this upcoming online talk, Donna Kerridge invites us to listen to the whispers of the land, to feel, experience and be a part of nature. As we learn to listen, we gain a new way of seeing the world – one that recognises the deep interconnectedness and interdependence of all living beings. Donna beautifully reminds us that “we are all Indigenous to somewhere and carry ancestral wisdom in our bones”.
