Gare St Lazare Beckett Workshop Conversation

Presented by Theatre du Pif, HKU School of English, and the Consulate General of Ireland Following a five-day intensive workshop on the plays and prose of Samuel Beckett—led by acclaimed Irish company Gare St Lazare for Hong Kong‘s actors and directors— join us for a rare evening inside the company’s creative world. In this candid conversation, the artists reflect on their workshop experience, the challenges and revelations of staging Beckett, and their extraordinary careers dedicated almost exclusively to Beckett’s austere, comic, and deeply human universe.
