This April, the Hong Kong Maritime Museum warmly invites families to join the upcoming “Whale Storytelling × Art Workshop” and set off on an imaginative ocean journey with local young illustrator Carly Leung. Carly is an entrepreneur and co‑founder of the Climate Incubator dedicated to promoting climate education. She is also an ocean enthusiast who is passionate about weaving marine conservation messages into children’s stories and art, sparking curiosity and imagination through creative expression. During the workshop, Carly will share whale stories with children in a fun and engaging way, while also introducing the creative ideas behind the storybook. Through storytelling and hands‑on art‑making, parents and children can listen, create, and learn together — discovering the wonders of the ocean while uncovering the behind-the-scenes secrets of creating a storybook.
